Testimonials – Cambodia: Off the Beaten Path
This was our first trip with Jim Cline Photo Tours, and it was very interesting. The tour was advertised as “Cambodia, off the beaten path” and it certainly lived up to that claim. The ruins and temples of Cambodia were fascinating bits of history. But even more interesting were the insights into the Cambodian villagers and their lives. Reality was also brought home with what we learned about the Khmer Rouge, the Killing Fields and meeting Soun Rottana, a former member of the Khmer Rouge. Karl is not only an exceptional photographic guide, but he brought so much Cambodian history to our attention. Our local guide, Raden Doun, was similarly helpful and made the trip run smoothly. There might have been a few things that weren’t perfect but overall, I rate this as a rare experience that I will treasure forever. ~ Mark. P, Cambodia Photo Tour
This was a great trip! Pre-departure information and service was the best I’ve experienced. Karl went out of his way to make this a wonderful photo tour in his adopted country. ~ Kathryn M., Cambodia Photo Tour
A very interesting trip with the emphasis not on Angkor Wat, but the country side of Northern Cambodia and smaller less visited cities. Karl is an excellent guide and knows both photography and opportunity. He will maximize both for you in places where few have gone before. The tour had plenty of time in Siem Reap to see the temples there, but we also saw many less visited temples in Battambang and Preah Vihear. I can’t recommend Karl highly enough. We’ve done at least 4 previous trips together and all have been excellent.~Thomas L., Cambodia Photo Tour
